The region Klein-Brabant is very beautiful and loved by many tourists. Trough the TV-series "Stille Waters" it's really
a paradise for cyclists and the local government are working hard to make it a more pleasant place.

Most of the ferry's are accessible for the tourists with there bicycles, but in 2000 was the ferry in Boom
the only one who could be used by users of wheelchairs.

Together with the association Vrienden van de Vlaamse Veren we invited the regional tv-station ATV
to inform there viewers about this and to encourage other ferry's to make them accessible.
